After each successful interview, you'll get one step closer to your goal! But is it enough? how to prepare? and progress faster?

To best prepare for an interview, there are a few things you should keep in mind:

1. All of the materials you will need should be easily accessible and free.

2. The best way to practice is by using real interviews as your main source of practice.

3. You still need to do some homework before the interview.

4. After the interview, it's important to reflect on any mistakes you may have made so that you can learn from them.

Before you go into an interview, make sure you're prepared by doing the following:

1. Read the job description carefully. This will give you an idea of the types of questions you may be asked and whether or not the job is a good fit for you. If it looks like a good match, take note of any specific skills or experience that are mentioned in the job description. For example, if the job requires knowledge of Git Flow or REST, make sure you can explain these concepts before the interview.

2. Do your research. Watch some lessons or explanation videos on YouTube, or even complete a course on Coursera or Udemy. This will help to ensure that you understand the key concepts that are relevant to the job you're applying for.

3. Research the company thoroughly. Read reviews from both clients and employees (you can find these on Glassdoor).

4. Take a look at the key employees' profiles on LinkedIn and GitHub (or other platforms). This will give you a better idea of their work and how they operate.

5. Prepare some questions to ask during the interview. This will show that you're interested in the company and the role you're interviewing for.

6. Based on the information you collect from various sources, you'll be able to come up with questions specific to the company (Asking questions is very important too). This way, you'll also get a better understanding of the company culture and will be able to communicate and answer their questions more easily.

*You can find questions that companies may ask you on sites like Glassdoor. For example, here is the link to Calendly's glassdoor page where you can find a variety of questions that have been asked in previous interviews. However, you can find questions for almost any company on there.

What to do after the interview?

1. If there were any questions that you felt unsure about or didn't answer at all, take some time to research better answers. There are plenty of resources online that can help you out, like Quora. That way, when other companies ask you similar questions in the future, you'll be able to answer confidently without having to think too much about it.

2. After you finish a tech round, take some time to improve your code or exercise. Then, reach out to the recruiter and send them your updated solution. Make sure that your new solution works perfectly before you send it off. This will show recruiters that you're constantly improving your skills and that you're dedicated to your craft - both of which are qualities they'll be looking for in potential hires.

3. Companies will sometimes assign a homework project to be completed within 3 days, such as creating a Netflix clone. Once the project is completed, add it to your resume. If you're having trouble coming up with coding the project, try watching some helpful videos on YouTube or Google before getting started.

If you are rejected, don't despair! Here are a few things you can do:

1. First of all, try not to be too upset. Rejections are just part of the process.

2. Ask the company to give you feedback. You can agree to this during the first round of interviews. If you are rejected, they should provide you with a review. Many companies do this. They may even make a separate call with you to give this feedback.

3. There's also a small chance that they will change their decision after the call. We've seen this happen before.

By following these steps, you can turn a rejection into an opportunity to learn and improve!
