What is different on an H-4 EAD
Any employer, on a card with an end date.
Your EAD is not tied to one company, so you can take roles that say they will not sponsor. It is tied to your H-4 status, and renewals filed on or after October 30, 2025 no longer get an automatic extension while they are pending, so a late renewal can mean a gap in work. DHS made that final on October 14, 2026.

Do I need an employer that sponsors visas?
Not to be hired on your H-4 EAD: it lets you work for any employer, so postings that say they will not sponsor stay in your search. We do not filter employers by whether they have sponsored before.
How are screening questions answered on an H-4 EAD?
The way you tell us when your search is set up: whether you are authorized to work in the US, and how to answer questions about sponsorship. The team checks those answers before applications go out.
What if my EAD is up for renewal?
Renew as early as you are allowed to. EAD renewals filed on or after October 30, 2025 no longer get an automatic extension while they are pending, so a card that runs out before the new one arrives means a gap in work. Tell us if that happens.
How many applications will you send?
There is no cap. How many go out depends on how many open postings match your roles, locations and seniority, so we do not promise a number. You see every application we send.
Which employers do you apply to?
Employers hiring in the United States on their own career sites: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and others. You can name companies to leave out, such as your current or last employer, and staffing agencies can be left out too.
