For F-1 OPT and STEM OPT
Spend your OPT days interviewing, not applying.
Post-completion OPT allows 90 days without a job, and 150 with a STEM extension. We apply to jobs for you on employer career sites, and a team of people sets up and watches your search, so your days go into interviews.
- Applications on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and others
- Postings that require US citizenship are skipped
- From $500, paid once
Standard $500 for 3 months · Premium $750 for 6 months. One-time payment, nothing renews.
The unemployment clock
Every day without a job counts.
SEVIS starts counting on the start date of your OPT, and counts each calendar day with no employer reported. Weekends count. A service like ours does not stop the clock; only qualifying employment does.
90 days
Unemployment allowed in total on post-completion OPT.
150 days
In total with a 24-month STEM OPT extension, including the days used before it.
7 days a week
Every calendar day without employment counts, not only workdays.

How an OPT search runs
People set it up. Software sends it.
A person sets up your search
Someone on our team builds your search from your resume: the roles, the locations, the seniority, and the companies you want left out.
We check what goes out
The team checks your resume and your answers to screening questions, like whether you are authorized to work in the US and whether you will need sponsorship.
Software applies on career sites
Applications are submitted on employers' own career sites: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and others. There is no cap on how many.
We watch and we reply
The team watches the submissions as they go out and replies when you write to us. The interviews are yours.
What your search does with OPT
- Postings that require US citizenship are skipped, and so are postings that need a security clearance unless you hold one.
- Postings that say they will not sponsor a visa are your call. OPT can authorize qualifying work without an H-1B sponsor today, so these postings stay in unless you ask us to leave them out.
- Screening questions about work authorization and sponsorship get the answers you set when your search is set up.
- STEM OPT employers must be enrolled in E-Verify. We do not check that for you, so confirm it before you accept an offer.
What we do
- Set up your search from your resume
- Check your resume and screening answers
- Submit applications on employer career sites
- Watch the submissions and reply to you
What you do
- Report each new employer to your DSO
- Confirm a STEM OPT employer is in E-Verify
- Go to the interviews
- Tell us when you accept an offer

FAQ
Straight answers.
Do you only apply to employers that sponsor H-1B?
No. We filter individual postings by work authorization, rather than keeping a verified list of sponsoring employers. Postings that require US citizenship are skipped, and you decide whether postings that say they will not sponsor stay in your search.
Many postings say nothing about sponsorship either way. Those stay in.
Does paying for Careery count as employment on OPT?
No. Careery is a service you pay for, not a job, so it does not pause your unemployment clock. Only qualifying employment does. Ask your DSO what counts for you.
How many applications will you send?
There is no cap. How many go out depends on how many open postings match your roles, locations and seniority, so we do not promise a number. You see every application we send.
Which employers do you apply to?
Employers hiring in the United States on their own career sites: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and others. You can name companies to leave out, such as your current or last employer, and staffing agencies can be left out too.
What do I do, and what do you do?
We set up your search, check your resume and screening answers, submit the applications and watch them, and reply when you write to us.
You report your employment to your DSO, confirm E-Verify for a STEM OPT employer, and go to the interviews.
I am about to move to STEM OPT. Does the count start over?
No. The 150 days on STEM OPT include the days you already used on post-completion OPT. The day counter adds both up for you.
What does it cost?
Standard is $500 for 3 months of applications. Premium is $750 for 6 months, plus a resume and LinkedIn rewrite. Both are one payment, with no subscription.
Premium can also be paid in installments: $275 today, $375 in month 2 and $375 in month 4. See pricing.
