Careery vs LoopCV (2026): Price, Who Applies, Risks

Short answer

LoopCV vs Careery: a free to €87.99/month auto-apply tool you run, or $500 to $750 once for managed applications. Pricing, refunds, reviews and which to pick.

LoopCV and Careery both promise to take job applications off your plate. They sell very different things.

LoopCV sells software: a monthly subscription, a cap on applications or emails per month, and "loops" (saved job searches) that you set up and tune yourself. Careery sells a service: software submits the applications, and a team of people sets up the search, checks your resume and screening answers, watches the submissions and replies to you.

That difference decides the price, who catches mistakes, and what you can get back. Everything below comes from public pages checked on October 29, 2026.

LoopCV vs Careery: The Verdict

Disclosure: Careery publishes this comparison and sells managed job applications. LoopCV facts come from its public pages, help center, terms and Trustpilot profile, checked October 29, 2026. No LoopCV plan was purchased or tested.

Careery production data: median across the 52 paying customers whose agent sent applications in every week from September 28 to October 25, 2026 (34,891 applications in total over those four weeks)

The two volume figures differ: LoopCV's are plan ceilings, Careery's is what customers' agents actually sent. Neither says anything about interviews.

Key Takeaway

LoopCV is far cheaper and you run it. Careery costs more and people run it with you. Decide which bottleneck you are paying to remove.

How LoopCV Works

LoopCV is run by Loopcv Technologies P.C., named in its terms under Greek law. Its about page says it launched in 2019.
Its help article on creating a loop describes three steps:

Step 01: Search info

Job title, location, job boards (for example LinkedIn, Indeed or Glassdoor, or all of them), optional career page search, seniority level and your CV.

Step 02: Email template

A prewritten or custom email, always with your CV attached. You can send yourself a test to see what a company receives.

Step 03: Settings

Toggles for "Automatically send emails" and "Auto-fill Application Forms", AI answering (Premium members only) and the Chrome extension.

That gives three application routes:

  • Emails to companies. LoopCV finds company email addresses and sends your template with your CV. Few auto-apply tools do this, and it is a real strength where hiring still runs through inboxes.
  • Auto-filled forms on postings that have an application form.
  • The Chrome extension. Per the extension guide, it applies in bulk on LinkedIn, Indeed, Reed, Dice, StepStone and GulfTalent while you are logged in, sending the CV stored on those sites.
Screening questions land in a Questions tab. Per LoopCV's AI question answering page, you can review and edit AI answers there; questions it cannot answer from your CV wait for you, then get reused.
Its low-volume help article says few applications usually means strict filters, a thin location or a high matching level, and suggests loosening them. Honest advice, and it tells you who does the tuning: you.
The homepage claims "61% of users get an interview in the first 10 days." That is a vendor figure with no stated method, not verified here.
Key Takeaway

LoopCV gives you many levers. Results depend on how well you set and watch them.

How Careery Works

Per Careery's pricing page, software submits applications on employer career sites (Workday, Ashby, Lever, Greenhouse, Workable and others), and a team of people sets up your search, checks your resume and screening answers, watches the submissions and replies to you. The software filters roles by work authorization, sponsorship needs, contract type and target industry.
There are no loops to configure. If something looks wrong, such as the wrong seniority or an answer you would not give, you tell the team and they correct the search. The apply to jobs for me page covers the service in detail. Workday applications often sit on one status for weeks; the Workday "in progress" guide explains what it means.
What Careery does not promise
Careery's terms (section 13) say it cannot guarantee job offers, interviews or employment. No service can grant work authorization or extend an OPT or H-1B deadline; checking screening answers is about accuracy, not immigration outcomes.

LoopCV prices are in euros; a dollar card is converted at your bank's rate.

LoopCV's own page shows two starting prices
The plan cards on the pricing page list Standard Looper at €8.99 a month; the page title and FAQ say "from €9.99/month." Check the amount at checkout.
Careery planPriceLengthIncludes
Standard$500 once3 monthsManaged job applications
Premium$750 once6 monthsManaged applications, ATS resume rebuild, LinkedIn rewrite, 30-second video resume
Premium in installments$275, then $375, then $3756 monthsSame as Premium. Careery's pricing page: stop any time and keep everything you have already paid for

Paid in installments, Premium totals $1,025, against $750 paid at once.

The honest price comparison: LoopCV is much cheaper. As arithmetic only, three months of Premium Looper on 3-month billing is €67.47; six months of Done For You is €395.94. Careery Standard is $500 for three months. The gap pays for people doing the setup, checking and correction that LoopCV leaves to you (or, on Done For You, to a weekly call plus your own time).
Key Takeaway

If budget is the hard limit, start with LoopCV's free plan. Careery makes sense only if you value the hours and the checking.

Refunds and Cancellation

LoopCV's pricing FAQ and its full refund policy differ, and the policy is stricter.

LoopCV's pricing FAQ says refunds are available "within 7 days of purchase if you have not used more than 10% of your plan's application quota." The Refund Policy in its help center (effective January 1, 2025, last modified August 12, 2025) adds conditions:
  • Grounds are a faulty service or unauthorized charges. A change of mind is excluded.
  • You must ask within 7 days, and all of these must be true: fewer than 20 applications sent, fewer than 50 matches found, and the platform allowed to run for at least 2 full days.
  • Only the latest charge is refundable, and only one refund per customer.
  • Not getting interviews or replies is "not a valid reason," and neither is limited job availability.
  • The Done For You plan is non-refundable "under any circumstances."
Cancelling LoopCV: its cancellation article says to open the Pricing Plans page and click "Cancel my subscription." The pricing FAQ says you keep access until the end of the billing period.
Careery: the terms (section 6) say sales are generally final and non-refundable once service is initiated or access is granted. Nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel. Installments are the lower-commitment route: the pricing page says you can stop any time and keep everything you have already paid for.

Trustpilot, October 29, 2026
The Trustpilot profile shows 3.8 from 132 reviews, only 17 of them from the last 12 months, so most of the score reflects older experiences. Trustpilot notes that LoopCV invites customers to review and replied to 100% of negative reviews, typically within 2 weeks. LoopCV's own reviews page claims 4.7 "based on 2,742 verified reviews across all platforms" without naming the platforms; treat that as a vendor figure.
Each of these is one person's account on Trustpilot, unverified:
  • Support gets praise. A January 29, 2026 reviewer titled theirs "This actually works" and recommended the premium package for its setup help. A September 21, 2026 reviewer praised support but said "the free plan is very limited."
  • A quick interview. September 25, 2025: "I just started using LoopCV and I already got an interview for a great role."
  • Less volume than expected. An October 2025 two-star review said LoopCV auto-applied to only 14 openings: "Definitely not worth 50 quid a month." LoopCV replied that the account had over 690 matches in 10 days, 100 email submissions and 90 more pending through the extension.
  • Manual work. An August 19, 2026 one-star review called the tool buggy and said "you have to do most of the work manually anyway."
  • A slow refund. A September 14, 2026 one-star reviewer said a €8.99 refund took nearly two months. LoopCV replied: "We take full responsibility for the way your case was handled."

The pattern fits the product design: people who put in setup time, or get help with it, report results; people who expected it to run itself report low volume or manual work. Reddit threads could not be retrieved for this comparison, so none are quoted.

Risks to Check Before You Pay

Risk 1: LinkedIn's rules on extensions

LoopCV's extension applies on LinkedIn while you are logged in. LinkedIn's prohibited software page bans extensions that "scrape, modify the appearance of, or automate activity on LinkedIn's website," and warns of accounts being "restricted or shut down." No restriction tied to LoopCV was observed here, but if your LinkedIn profile matters, keep the extension off LinkedIn.

Risk 2: AI answers on visa questions

On Premium Looper and up, AI fills screening questions from your CV, and a CV rarely says whether you will need sponsorship. Check every work authorization and sponsorship answer in the Questions tab before it gets reused: a wrong answer there can cost more than a missed application. Careery's team checks these answers, but no service can change your immigration status.

Risk 3: Emails in your name

LoopCV's FAQ says employers see "a normal application without an automation label." So a generic email reads as yours. Send yourself the test email and rewrite the template until you would send it by hand.

Key Takeaway

Keep the extension off LinkedIn, check every sponsorship answer and rewrite the email template before turning on automation.
