AIApply Review 2026: Is It Legit? Prices, Refunds, Risks

Short answer

AIApply review: real prices ($49 for 100 auto-applies), strict refund rules, 1,934 Trustpilot reviews and a BBB F rating. See who it suits before you pay.

Trustpilot reviewer Thomas K. said AIApply would "use up all your credits within a day". They reported a refused refund and planned to contact their card company.
Bruno Buracchio gave five stars: "My response rate from employers clearly improved".

Same product. Different experiences.

Now your card is the one on the checkout page. Which experience should you budget for?

How this review was researched

This is a competitor review: the publisher also sells job-application services. No AIApply subscription was purchased or tested. The evidence is public pricing, documentation, company records and selected user feedback, including five Trustpilot posts from a profile with 1,934 reviews. The aggregate count is not a claim that every review was analyzed. Sources were checked on October 9, 2026.

The verdict: is AIApply worth it?

AIApply is a real product. That answers only half the buying question.

Its published controls make it worth considering for repeatable applications, provided the matches fit and you can absorb the subscription cost. AIApply says strong matches are prioritized and later fit scores may decrease. Strict criteria can produce fewer matches. Neither point proves that broad searches succeed or narrow searches fail. Source: application modes.
AIApply at a glance (checked October 9, 2026)
  • Company: AIApply Ltd, England and Wales (No. 15200716), incorporated October 10, 2023, registered office in Leicester
  • Products: Auto Apply, Premium, Interview Buddy, Search Only and an iPhone app
  • Cheapest automation: $49 a month for 100 applications, before tailoring add-ons
  • Refunds: generally non-refundable, subject to limited policy and legal exceptions

The recommendation is conditional on controls and cost, not a demonstrated advantage for particular seniority levels. Review mode gives a selective search an option; it still does not provide approval of every tailored resume.

How AIApply works: what Auto Apply sends in your name

Auto Apply handles forms as well as documents. AIApply says it answers screening questions, selects a salary figure and may create employer-portal accounts in your name.

Here is the flow, as AIApply's help center describes it:

  1. Buy Auto Apply and complete your profile, resume, job preferences and Answer Library.
  2. Set a daily cap of 10 to 100 in Job Preferences, then Application volume. This is a limit, not a promised submission count.
  3. Monitor matches and employer replies in the dashboard and AIApply-created inbox.
  4. Inspect submitted documents, answers and any employer-portal credentials in the job record.

The three application modes

Job approval and document approval are different controls.

ModeDocumented behaviorControl
AutoMatching jobs submitted automaticallyNo individual job approval
HybridHigh-fit jobs submitted automatically; lower-fit jobs await approvalThe modes article says 70+; the overview says 75%+
ReviewEvery suggested job requires approvalApprove the role before submission, not the tailored resume
Documented limits to check before setup
  • Tailored resumes are generated and sent during submission. They can be inspected afterward, including in Review mode.
  • Salary generally follows your minimum. For advertised USD ranges, employment status influences the figure; if the maximum is below your minimum, AIApply says it submits that maximum.
  • The sending inbox cannot be changed. Personal-email notifications contain alerts; the full message stays in AIApply.
  • Employer-portal accounts may be created, with credentials stored in the dashboard.
  • Switching from Auto to Review may not stop applications already approved.
The modes article and overview disagree on Hybrid's threshold. Confirm the current setting with support. The tailoring guide and salary guide explain the other limits. AIApply's special-situations FAQ says internships are unsupported.

The rest of the toolkit: Premium, Interview Buddy and Search Only

  • Premium: resume and cover letter tools, Application Kit and unlimited mock interviews. It does not submit applications.
  • Interview Buddy: Windows/macOS software providing live answer suggestions, separate from mock-interview practice.
  • Search Only: matches and dashboard access; no new credits and no automated use of leftover credits. Former Auto Apply users retain their inbox while subscribed.
  • iPhone app: released August 24, 2026, according to Apple's metadata; it shares the web account, inbox and three modes.

AIApply pricing in 2026: every plan and the real monthly cost

The pricing URL redirected to the homepage on October 9, 2026. The table below uses AIApply's official help center, not a competitor's price estimate.

Search Only$12/monthJob matches and dashboard, no new credits
Checked October 9, 2026: Pricing & billing, plans and credits, Interview Buddy and Search Only. Web subscriptions are charged in USD; check the VAT-inclusive checkout total.

Four details deserve a checkout check:

  • $199 means two volumes: the plans-and-credits article lists 750 quarterly credits and, separately, a 600-credit upgrade. It does not specify the upgrade's billing interval.
  • Web and iPhone listings differ: that article says no weekly plans, but the US App Store lists Auto-Apply Starter Weekly ($9.99) and Pro Weekly ($14.99). Listed purchases do not establish which offers every account can buy.
  • Credits roll over while active. After cancellation and expiry, they are lost and not restored on resubscription, according to the credit-expiry guide. Upgrades reset the billing date. Failed or unsupported submissions do not consume a credit.
  • Student discount: the student page advertises 40% off premium features with a student email. Confirm which subscriptions the code covers at checkout.

What a realistic month costs

Both tailoring add-ons are optional. These totals add the listed prices; cost per application assumes every credit is used.

SetupMonthly cost or equivalentCost per application
Writing tools only (Premium, billed yearly)$12 equivalent; $144 paid yearlyNo auto-apply
Writing tools only (Premium, monthly)$29No auto-apply
Auto Apply 100, no tailoring$49$0.49
Auto Apply 100 + tailored resume + tailored cover letter$73$0.73
Auto Apply 250 + both tailoring add-ons$123$0.49
Key Takeaway

$49 is a usable base Auto Apply plan. $73 includes both optional tailoring add-ons; Premium and Interview Buddy are separate purchases. Check volume, billing interval and each renewal before paying.

AIApply refunds, cancellation and auto-renewal

Cancel before renewal; do not assume cancellation returns an existing charge. AIApply's terms and refund policy set these limits:
May qualifyGenerally excluded by AIApply's policy
Verified technical failure materially preventing use, supported by evidenceAuto Apply after submissions
Accidental purchase reported within 30 minutes, without meaningful useRenewals, except eligible technical issues or legal requirements
Material loss of core paid functionality: 30 days' notice and pro-rata refund if cancelled before the changeDisappointing results or buying the wrong plan

Contact support first and allow an opportunity to fix the problem. Refunds are reviewed individually, not guaranteed; approved payments typically take 5 to 10 business days. Goodwill credits are discretionary. The help center says buyers of Premium plus Auto Apply may be offered a choice of refunding one, not both simultaneously.

The terms specify English law and individual arbitration with a class-action waiver for US residents. They also preserve exceptions required by law or service-specific terms. Their cooling-off acknowledgment does not establish whether a particular buyer has lost statutory cancellation rights. This is general information, not legal advice.

For Apple-billed purchases, use Apple's refund-request route. Approval is not guaranteed, eligibility varies by country or region, and applicable consumer rights remain.
Check the policy behind the homepage FAQ

The homepage describes case-by-case refunds and says prorated refunds or credits are often provided. The terms and help center impose narrower eligibility rules. A homepage statement is not a guaranteed refund.

How to cancel AIApply without paying for another month

Follow AIApply's cancellation guide through the final confirmation.

Step 01: Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date

Open Account Settings, then Billing. Select Cancel below the renewal date. Cancelling afterward does not undo a completed renewal.

Step 02: Get past the pause screen

After the exit survey and 1-, 2- or 3-month pause offer, select "No thanks, continue cancelling." Closing that screen leaves the subscription active.

Step 03: Cancel every subscription separately

Check Auto Apply, Premium, Interview Buddy and each add-on. For Apple-billed purchases, cancel in Apple Account subscriptions.

Step 04: Pause the queue if you want applications to stop now

Cancelling stops future billing. To stop submissions now, also select Pause in Your Jobs. Pausing the queue alone does not stop billing.

Step 05: Save what you need before access ends

Credits expire when the cancelled plan lapses. Save employer replies: the privacy policy schedules permanent mailbox deletion 3 months after your last paid service ends or your last successful payment, whichever is later.

If support says no

For a US credit-card billing error, the CFPB advises contacting the issuer promptly and sending written notice within 60 calendar days of the statement showing the charge. Defective-service disputes may follow a different process. Disappointment with an authorized purchase does not automatically establish a billing error.

Is AIApply legit? What Trustpilot, the App Store, the BBB and reddit say

A consumer review score and a BBB grade measure different things.

The Companies House record confirms an active business, not an endorsement of its service. These public ratings were checked on October 9, 2026.
4.3
Trustpilot TrustScore, 1,934 reviews
Trustpilot, October 9, 2026
66% / 11%
Five-star / one-star Trustpilot reviews
Trustpilot, October 9, 2026
3.0
US App Store, 48 ratings
Apple, October 9, 2026
F
BBB grade, not accredited
BBB, October 9, 2026

Trustpilot: praise for convenience, complaints about control

The profile invites reviews and has a merged-profile notice. It shows replies to 73% of negative reviews, typically within two weeks. Its AI-generated summary describes time savings and useful writing tools alongside reports of off-target applications and rapid credit use.

Alongside the two reviews quoted above, the profile contains these individual accounts. Dates below are the experience dates displayed by Trustpilot, all in 2026:

  • Lucas Bailo, 5 stars, October 7: faster resume and cover letter drafting.
  • Thana Nassr, 3 stars, October 7: useful automation but unclear separate add-on charges and frustrating support.
  • Dan Warren, 1 star, September 5: price and irrelevant applications.

App Store: 3.0 from 48 ratings

The US listing and Apple's live metadata agree on 3.0 from 48 ratings. Visible reviews raise price and support concerns. In its response to Maddie8530's September 20 support complaint, AIApply acknowledged the frustration and requested the existing support conversation to investigate. That response is not proof the problem was resolved.

BBB: F rating, not accredited

The BBB profile lists 6 complaints and cites failure to respond to 5 as a reason for the F grade. Its three visible customer reviews include allegations of mismatched jobs and difficulty finding contact details. BBB says profiles generally cover three years and that complaint context and responses matter more than counts. These are reported complaints, not findings of fraud.

Reddit: success stories and regret, side by side

Two r/jobsearchhacks titles illustrate different reported experiences: "AI Apply: $639, 78 days and 1,283 applications later, I've landed a job." and "Aiapply was a waste of money". They are self-reported anecdotes, not independently verified results or a representative sample. No verdict here depends on Reddit alone.
No Chrome Web Store rating is reported because similarly named listings could not be verified as AIApply Ltd's product. G2's AI Marketplace listing supplies a product description, not a customer score.

Does AIApply work?

AIApply's homepage claims "61% of users get an interview in first 10 days" and displays 2,064,348 users. Its Auto Apply page advertises up to 80% more interviews. No methodology was located on those pages, so these remain company claims, not verified success rates.
The results FAQ says outcomes vary with experience, market conditions and criteria. The terms give no guarantee of interviews, offers or timelines. Public reviewers report submissions and interviews, but this review did not independently measure submission reliability or compare Auto Apply with manual applications.
Key Takeaway

Documentation establishes what AIApply is designed to do. User reports establish individual experiences. Neither establishes what percentage of buyers get hired.

The risks: platform rules, interview integrity and your data

Application automation, live interview help and data handling raise separate questions.

Platform rules (including LinkedIn)

AIApply's terms put responsibility for destination-platform rules on the user. LinkedIn's agreement, effective November 3, 2025, prohibits unauthorized bots and automated access in Section 8.2, including automated messaging and scraping. Section 3.4 permits account restrictions, suspension or termination for breaches.

These rules matter if a tool operates on LinkedIn. A LinkedIn job URL alone does not establish that behavior, and the public evidence reviewed here does not establish that AIApply accesses your LinkedIn account. Check the actual workflow and each destination's rules.

Application quality at volume

AIApply says tailored documents draw from your base resume and profile. Its tailoring guide advises editing that base first. Check factual accuracy, work authorization, location and salary constraints, then inspect submissions for unexpected changes. Trustpilot and BBB posts report mismatches; the reviewed evidence does not establish how often they occur.

Interview Buddy and employer interview rules

The Interview Buddy guide says it is designed to be invisible during screen sharing. The student page claims its AI models can bypass AI detection. Neither statement establishes permission from an employer.
On March 14, 2025, ITPro reported, citing internal Amazon guidance seen by Business Insider, that candidates should not use generative AI during interviews unless expressly permitted; violations could lead to disqualification. Confirm current rules with the recruiter. Mock interviews and a preparation plan offer practice beforehand.

What happens to your data

What AIApply's privacy policy and App Store label disclose
  • The privacy policy covers resumes, answers, mailbox correspondence and Interview Buddy transcripts. Application fields are transmitted without redaction; omit unnecessary sensitive data.
  • Hosting is in the UK/EEA, but providers can process data elsewhere. Named providers include Azure (US), Migadu (Switzerland/France) and AnyIP (Singapore, submission routing).
  • The policy schedules permanent mailbox deletion 3 months after the last paid service ends or last successful payment, whichever is later. Save messages beforehand.
  • With advertising consent, hashed emails may go to Google Ads. The App Store label lists contact info, identifiers and usage data for tracking; Apple says the disclosure is developer-provided and unverified.
  • AIApply says it does not sell personal data and instructs model providers not to train on prompts or outputs. These are policy statements, not an independent security audit.

FAQ

Is AIApply legit?

AIApply Ltd is an active company registered in England and Wales (No. 15200716). Public users report using its products. That establishes a real business, not guaranteed results or a finding that every complaint is unfounded.

Is AIApply free?

A limited free tier offers up to two mock interviews, job browsing, saved jobs and some cover letters. The help center says no free trial; Auto Apply and the Resume Builder require payment.

How much does AIApply cost per month?

Auto Apply is $49/month for 100 applications, $99/month for 250, or $199/quarter for 750. Resume and cover letter tailoring add $12/month each. Premium is $29/month, Interview Buddy $19/month and Search Only $12/month, each separate.

Does AIApply work?

Its documented workflow submits applications, and users report individual successes and problems. The 10-to-100 daily setting is a cap, not a guaranteed count. No independently verified success rate was established, and the terms promise no interviews or offers.

Is AIApply safe?

No independent security audit was performed for this review. AIApply publishes a privacy policy and says it does not sell personal data. Check automated submissions, destination-platform rules, overseas processors and mailbox retention before subscribing.

How do I cancel my AIApply subscription?

In Account Settings, open Billing and cancel each subscription at least 24 hours before renewal. Finish past the pause offer. Pause the queue separately to stop submissions immediately. Apple-billed subscriptions are cancelled through Apple Account settings.

Can I get a refund from AIApply?

The policy generally excludes refunds after submissions or for poor results. Technical failures and accidental purchases reported within 30 minutes without meaningful use may qualify after contacting support. Legal requirements and service-specific terms remain exceptions; approval is not guaranteed.

Can employers tell you used AIApply?

AIApply says it adds no resume watermark. That does not guarantee undetectability: its terms warn that employers and platforms may use AI or bot detection. Interview assistance also depends on employer permission.

What do Reddit users say about AIApply?

Linked r/jobsearchhacks threads include a reported job after $639 and 1,283 applications, and another titled 'Aiapply was a waste of money.' These accounts are anecdotes, not representative evidence or independently verified outcomes.

Where is AIApply based?

AIApply Ltd's registered office is in Leicester, United Kingdom. Its web help center says subscriptions are charged in USD.
